Got pet-friendly Athens Ohio off campus housing with a friendly pooch who loves to swim? Why not bring Fido or Fifi for Athens’ end of summer Dog Swim, sponsored by Friendly Paws Pet Supplies and Grooming and the Athens City Pool on Sept. 18, 4 to 7 p.m. Dogs of any size are welcome, but one area will be roped off for small dogs. Humans may not enter the pool during the swim. Please, no aggressive dogs and no dogs in heat.
Cost is $5 to benefit a cause TBA.
Please do not force dogs into the water. If they are scared, just let them run around and have fun. Forcing tentative dogs into the pool will not be allowed.
