Sal Vulcano of Impractical Jokers Fame Comes to OU’s Campus

Sep 05, 2025

If you’re a fan of all things comedy and slapstick humor, Ohio University is putting on a show that you’re guaranteed to laugh out loud at. On September 20th, 2025, Sal Vulcano makes his way to campus as part of his Everything’s Fine tour.

Vulcano is the co-creator and executive producer of one of the longest running comedy shows of all time—Impractical Jokers. The show follows Vulcano and friends as they take part in hidden-camera pranks with unsuspecting passersby. The show has been on air for over 13 years and has garnered plenty of fans and acclaim over the years.

“Everything’s Fine” is a One-Man Show

Fans of Sal Vulcano will see a new side to the comedian on his latest tour. “Everything’s Fine” is a solo standup show where Vulcano focuses on personal observations and jokes. The show presents Vulcano in a slightly more vulnerable light as he talks about his family and life, sharing embarrassing or awkward moments to make the audience laugh.

That is to say that fans of Impractical Jokers won’t get the same slapstick humor they’re used to with this standup show. And they certainly won’t see Vulcano lose one of the infamous dares on the show. By no means will fans of Impractical Jokers not enjoy “Everything’s Fine,” but it’s helpful to know that the formats of the two shows are different.

For fans of standup or Sal Vulcano, though, “Everything’s Fine” has received overwhelmingly positive reviews from critics and Vulcano’s fanbase. Common audience reviews say that Vulcano is a natural standup comedian with good delivery and hilarious jokes.

The best part? You don’t have to travel far from your student rental home to get to a night full of laughs. “Everything’s Fine” comes to Ohio University’s Memorial Auditorium on September 20th, 2025 starting at 8pm. Tickets for the show are still in stock and can be purchased through Ohio University’s ticketing partner.
